Russia’s TMK hopes to recover positions on Iranian mkt in 1–2 yrs
MOSCOW, Jul 12 (PRIME) -- Russian oil and gas pipeline maker TMK plans to regain its position on the Iranian market within one–two years, Chairman of the Board of Directors Dmitry Pumpyansky told reporters on Tuesday.
“We seriously hope that we will regain the positions on the Iranian market, ones we had before the sanctions, in a year or two,” Pumpyansky said.
Deputy TMK CEO Vladimir Shmatovich said earlier this year that TMK may ship several tens of thousand tonnes of steel pipes to Iran in 2016. Small batches have already been shipped, he said then, and a long-term contract is to be signed later in 2016.
